The Linka bezpečí online campaign aimed at responsible behavior of young people on social networks
During International Safe Internet Day 2024, Linka bezpečí launched an online campaign for responsible behaviour of young people on social networks, which was also supposed to help them prevent misuse of their content.
From the data of the Linka bezpečí, three essential topics from the online environment that most negatively affect children were selected - sexual innuendo, stalking and hateful comments. The campaign with three spots during February reached almost 789,000 hits and recorded 124,000 video views.

Point de Contact - Annual Report 2022
The reporting platform Point de Contact has published its 2022 annual report on the volume of reports received and processed as well as on the trends observed in cybercrime. This report is also an opportunity to highlight the work carried out throughout the year 2022 : activities, projects and awareness-raising.
Here are some key figures: 36 169 received in 2022, 8 806 URLs qualified as sexual exploitation of minors and 9 470 URLs were forwarded to law enforcement authorities.

It covers topics such as understanding what a digital footprint is, maintaining a positive online reputation, navigating online culture and etiquette, dealing with cyberbullying, building a personal brand on the internet, considering the impact of social media on career plans, understanding the right to be forgotten, managing one's digital footprint effectively, and ensuring mental well-being in the digital age.
Lesson plan on Sexting
An updated version of the lesson plan on Sexting has been written by the Dutch helpline. The students will learn what Sexting entails, what non consensual intimate image sharing is (or sexting abuse) and what the consequences are when sharing an intimate image of someone without their consent. The students will learn to think about their own limits, their own wishes and how the respect the wishes/limits of others. At last, victim blaming is treated and how to look for help when a problem or questions arise.
