The Τime-fish Activity Book is a fun and educational collection of activities that helps young children understand the importance of balancing digital and real life. Through screen-free games like colouring, treasure hunts, crafts, movement activities, and short stories, kids discover, together with Chronopsaroulis, that joy can be found both in digital experiences and in real moments with friends, family, and nature.

A concerning trend among school-age children is the exposure to ultra-violent scenes (torture, beheadings, war scenes) on their smartphones. Alarmingly, 25 per cent of 11 to 18 year olds are engaging in this disturbing behaviour.
DigiStories: Alex

DigiStories: Alex is an educational video game that opens up the topic of healthy habits in the online environment. This game was published in October 2023 by One World in Schools, a division of the Czech organization People in Need. One World in Schools is also a part of Czech Safer Internet Centre.
Through an interactive conversation on the fictional social network DigiStories, students can learn about the signs and consequences of problematic behaviors related to the excessive use of digital technologies, in this case in the form of playing an online game.

The song "Z internetem świat jest bliski" (Internet makes the world closer), along with the music video and the lesson plan, represents the latest educational materials designed for children aged 4-7. These materials are aimed at promoting digital hygiene among the youngest. The protagonists of the music video are Mr. File and Mr. Folder, characters who introduce children to the virtual world and explain its basic concepts.

This report, produced by the Public Health Agency and the Media Authority, is a compilation of knowledge based on research and other relevant literature, national statistics, and dialogues with children, young people, guardians, civil society, and others. The report highlights correlations between high screen time and poorer sleep quality, problematic usage and negative health outcomes, such as on mental health and body image, while also acknowledging digital media's potential for social connection and learning.

Leaflet for teenagers: »Does the internet disrupt your sleep?”

We have prepared a leaflet for teenagers on the importance of sleep. This leaflet was created for the purposes of Back-2-School 2023 campaign.
At the moment, the leaflet is only available online. You can find the digital version on the Safe.si website, as well as on Facebook and Instagram. Our objective is to reach as many young people as possible. The online version, provided as a downloadable PDF, is easily accessible and free of charge.
