“What should I do if a child's naked photo is on the Internet?” - advices to parents
Due to increasing number of reports received to Latvian Hotline from parents, teachers and school’s support staff regarding the problem of child nudes circulating on the internet SIC has developed informative resource to raise awareness of parents and teachers about the risks when children unconsciously are producing child pornography and sharing it in closed chat groups, social media and elsewhere on the internet. Nudes of adolescents usually go online because they exchange sexually explicit pictures with their peers without thinking of consequences.
"Don't send nudes" - advices to teens
Due to increasing number of reports received from minors and their parents about the fact that adolescents are exchanging nudes with peers on social media and such content is circulating on closed chat groups and other places on the internet SIC has developed informative material containing advises to teens how to protect themselves and not to get into such situations, also avoid risks of sexual abuse. Resource includes risks, tips and advises how to act if you have sent your naked photo to somebody or have noticed a photo of a naked minor on the Internet.

This decision tree provides guidance on what young people should consider when receiving a naked photo of someone. This resource was produced by the Slovenian Awareness Centre Safe.si for celebrating SID 2020.

The main focus of Safelyonline project is the improvement of online medialiteracy levels among children and young poeple through the extensive media literacy education of their parents. More concretely, in the framework of this project, Gezinsbond and Child Focus (Belgian Safer Internet Centre) have been offering training to parents about the online media their children use daily. With about 150 training sessions every year, we are able to reach 4,500 parents.

- Acquire good practice for a responsible and safe use of the Internet and screens.

The Diary of Olympios
“The Diary of Olympios” is a story co-written by 17 pupils of the 6th grade of Lympia Elementary School, during the 2017-2018 school year.
This story deals with Internet security issues (addiction to online games, cyberbullying etc.) and promotes ways to deal with them in order to enjoy the internet use in our lives. The booklet is easily readable for children and delivers important messages. “The Diary of Olympios” explains what we gain from the correct and positive use of the internet.
Sexting @ School - Lesplan secundair onderwijs
Hoe ga jij als leerkracht met sexting om en hoe moet je reageren in bepaalde situaties? Dat is niet altijd even gemakkelijk. Deze lesvoorbereiding rond ‘sexting’ werd ontwikkeld voor leerlingen van het secundair onderwijs. In deze les willen we met de leerlingen aan de slag gaan rond het thema “online media en seksualiteit”. Zo gaan we onder meer:

The Digital Week is a participative and decentralized event that offers hundreds of activities around the digital throughout Wallonia and Brussels (Belgium).
It concerns all audiences willing to discover, understand and test new web and digital technologies.
The last edition of Digital Week took place from October 16 to 27, 2017, and focused on digital democracy.
SEXTING.BE - A 360° APPROACH
Child Focus is happy to present sexting.be: a platform that gathers information, tools and resources for a wide variety of target groups around the topic of... sexting. By targeting parents, schools, teachers & youngsters themselves, the platform offers a 360° approach in awareness raising.
What is in it (for you) besides articles, our training offer and information?
- Schools: A policy enhancing tool than allows schools to develop a tailor made policy in orde to prevent sexting to go wrong and how to handle sexting that DID go wrong.
