The game is aimed at children in the age of 6 to 9 playing with their parents. In the game the players can take part in seven-year-old Luna or Noah for a week in their lives, exploring together different challenges, joys and dilemmas they may encounter online. Topics that are addressed in the game include screen time, netiquette, passwords, age limits, behavior on social media and privacy - and the web as a fantastic resource, when used correctly.

Challenges are components of their offline environment as well as their online life. Momo Challenge, Blue Whale Challenges or Jonathan Galindo Challenge are no longer unknown. Many young people are cautiously seduced by these challenges and try them in a safe way, but others rush into these challenges without realising the risks. Their popularity creates panic among parents.

The eight-part thriller #martyisdead, inspired by real cases of cyberbullying, won the main prize at the international festival Serial Killer for the best web series in Central and Eastern Europe.

Test of 7 questions to ask yourself before posting a photo online “Why you posted that photo on the internet?”

Children and adolescents often act spontaneously by posting something which they later regret, therefore Latvian SIC suggests to use mutual test of 7 questions they can ask themselves before posting photo on social media. Test includes the following questions:

1. Is it a good photo?
2. Do my family, friends or other people who are visible on the photo agree on being posted?
3. Could the photo cause problems to other people?
4. Could the photo cause conflicts for me with others?
5. Am I aware that anyone will see this photo?

GDPR - WHAT? 2.0

GDPR - WHAT? is an online teaching material targeted 3rd-9th grade. It supports teachers in engaging in dialogue with their students about the GDPR and digital self-defense. Through a variety of activities with films, podcasts and group discussions, children and young people are encouraged to think critically about how and where they share their personal data online.
For the younger students, the focus is on understanding what you share when you are online, whereas the older students focus on digital rights in relation the GDPR.
