Combatting gender-based violence Directive (EU) 2024/1385 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 14 May 2024 on combating violence against women and domestic violence
The purpose of this Directive is to provide a comprehensive framework to effectively prevent and combat violence against women and domestic violence throughout the Union. It does so by strengthening and introducing measures in relation to the following areas: the definition of relevant criminal offences and penalties, the protection of victims and access to justice, victim support, enhanced data collection, prevention, coordination and cooperation.
Government actions against gender-based and sexual violence and harassment 2020-2023
This report provides a summary of the government's main actions in the period 2021 to 2023 to combat gender-based violence, reforms in the handling of sexual offences in the justice system and the strengthening of prevention and education against sexual and gender-based violence and harassment. These included reviewing and amending legislation, with action plans in the form of Parliamentary Resolutions, with increased budget appropriations earmarked for these issues, for example, to the police, and grants to various organisations working on these issues.

STAR+
STAR+ is an online pedagogical tool that allows professionals to guide young people aged 10 and older with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and/or a learning disability, for example due to an intellectual disability, in their online exploration. STAR+ can be used in both special and inclusive education.
Online sexual harrasment - just a joke?
The Croatian SIC has produced various educational materials as part of SID 2023. One of them is a lession plan for experts, for conducting a workshop with children aged 1-4. grade of high school (ages 16-19), and the topic is "Online sexual harrasment - just a joke?". The duration of the workshop is 45 minutes. The goal is to: highlight the importance of responding to violence. The material also includes an evaluation for students.
Dressing up girl and boy
The educational material is intended for children and teachers in kindergartens. The booklet guides educators on how to talk to children about sexual abuse and sexting. Children then have the opportunity to dress up a girl or a boy (according to their choice) during the conversation.
